On June 28th, 2004, nearly 40 cats entered our care from a struggling rural shelter, and immediately tested positive for a fatal and highly contagious virus: Panleukopenia. Our Office has been closed to the public ever since to protect visitors’ personal pets as well as protect other cats in our care from unintended exposure.
We fought the battle together, and after two very long months, as of September 9th , we were able to reopen our office and have 18 strong cats and kittens who battled hard so that they could finally find forever homes. Stop by and meet these Eye of the Tiger cats and maybe – just maybe – offer them the forever home they fought so hard to get to.
