Thelma

Thelma she is a beautiful mix breed, she is about 4-5 months old loves to chew, stretch out in the sun, play with other dogs and EAT!!!! She was in an accident where she was hit by a car and unfortunately lost one of her back legs but don’t think for a minute that it has slowed her down she is adjusting well and quickly figures out how to do things with out help.A good furever home for Thelma should first be patient she still needs lots of training help she’s learning but she is also a puppy and is very high energy. Thelma would love have a furry brother/sister that will play with her (kids are good too) but a confident furry sibling is a must because she feels most comfortable with other dogs. She is still learning to walk on a leash so will need a fenced in yard where she can practice and be able to run she loves to chase the ball. For the most part she is house trained but we do get piddling from time to time it takes a little longer for her to potty trying to balance on one back leg isn’t always easy. She is crate trained just make sure she has some toys to keep her busy. She isn’t super happy about going for car rides but if another dog is with her it helps but most of all Thelma needs a furever family that will love her!!!!
