From Onyx's loving previous family: ''Onyx is a lovey boy. The vets and techs at Banfield have commented on how well behaved he is/was and how he ate up check scritches. When [mom] works from home she will take him into our room and he will lay on her lap or right up next to her. He has the deepest purrs and sometimes sounds like a Raptor from Jurassic Park. Sometimes when he makes biscuits they’re Texas sized. He loves any toys with feathers and still acts like a kitten at times. We think he might be around 3 years old (this is just our best uneducated guess). He wants to be social and is vocal about it. He has taken to a cardboard scratcher and a carpeted scratching post. Hasn’t shown signs of scratching furniture like our others do to the couch.''Onyx is a handsome, huge boy beloved by his previous parents, but it just wasn't working out between him and the other cats in the home.
