Elvis is a relaxed and loving cat. He bonds with his person, and his foster mom said he even followed her around the house. Elvis is friendly with people, other cats, and even dogs!If you're wondering why Elvis has dark eyes, Elvis has limited vision due to symblepharon. Symblepharon is the adhesion of the conjunctiva to the cornea. This results in cloudy areas on the cornea and can reduce vision. Symblepharon is almost always the result of an untreated infection during the first 2 months of life. As Elvis is comfortable and adapted well, no medication/ surgery will be needed. However, his limited vision means we want him to go to a home that doesn’t ask him to adapt several times. Once he finds his way around he’s just like any cat! But lots of changes and moves can be confusing and stressful.
