Mr. Darcy

''We don't know what happened to him before he came to us, but poor Mr. Darcy was found starving, covered in fleas and heartworm positive. He is now on the slow kill treatment for heartworm and is on the mend! Mr. Darcy is the sweetest dog we have ever fostered - he is kind, gentle, snuggly, and quiet. His one flaw (if you can call it that!) is that he loves to pull blankets off the couch and wrap himself in them to feel extra snuggly and safe.He is super responsive to commands and understands his owners' needs. Mr. Darcy can live in any type of home, as he is low energy, house trained, and leash trained. He is great with other dogs, but doesn't seem particularly interested in playing with them just yet. He has not been tested with cats, but his prey drive is low and he seems uninterested in the neighborhood cats (he mostly ignores them). All he needs is a family to love him forever!''
