Trooper is now safe in foster care. He has hundreds of applications and inquiries and we know Trooper is going to have the best life. He will be with an owner who has breed experience and is well suited to offer him a permanent home for the rest of his life.

This is fantastic news, but there have been so many people willing to step up to offer a home for Trooper, we want to make sure they know there are other dogs in shelters, over 3 million, across the US – each looking for their forever homes. We can’t help but stress that every single dog in shelters deserve just as much attention, love, and advocacy.
Trooper’s story has a happy ending, but not all dogs are as lucky as he has been.
