Josie

Josie:Large Mini/Small Standard Australian Shephard, female, spayed, black & white. Sweet personality but extremely timid. Wants to be a normal dog but doesn’t know how. She occasionally plays with the other dogs but if she sees me watching she stops. She gets along with the other dogs and house cats. She is afraid of things in my hands. If I pick up anything, she runs and hides. Likes to be cuddled and petted. Really likes belly rubs. Housebroken as far as I can tell, no accidents in the house from her that I can tell. Knows the commands, “come”, “outside”, “inside” & “kennel”. Working on “sit”, “leave it”, “wait” and other obedience commands. Sleeps and eats in her crate and will go in crate and take naps on her own. The one bad thing I’ve found, she is very protective of her food bowl when it’s inside her crate with her. Full or empty she doesn’t want another dog near it.Josie requires a fenced yard. Josie would do better in a home where she would have a friendly furry brother or sister.
